SUPPORTING OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT
COMMUNITY

Supporting Winter Springs officers and their families through hardship assistance, recognition, and innovative resources for training and equipment

Message from the chief

My name is Matt Tracht, and I am the Chief of Police for the Winter Springs Police Department. I am writing on behalf of the Winter Springs Police Foundation.

The Winter Springs Police Foundation was established with a clear and meaningful purpose: to support and care for all agency members who have dedicated themselves to protecting our community since 1959. This foundation stands as a testament to the enduring commitment of the men and women who serve, and to the community that stands beside them.

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to our Board members, who generously volunteer their time, energy, and expertise to better our agency and the community we proudly serve. Their dedication is the backbone of this foundation’s success.

This foundation also serves as an opportunity to strengthen and expand the partnerships that make Winter Springs such a special place. By working together with our residents, business leaders, and faith-based organizations, we can continue to build a unified, supportive, and thriving community.

I encourage you to explore the website, get involved, and attend our events. Your participation is vital to our continued mission.

My pledge to you is simple: we will continue to make Winter Springs a destination where families can grow and thrive. Through professional, proactive, and compassionate policing, we will maintain the highest standards you expect while keeping crime low and ensuring a safe environment for all.

Thank you for your continued support.
